Durham Women welcome Manchester United to Maiden Castle on Thursday, October 14 – and here’s all the key information for supporters attending or looking to attend the big game…

No further tickets will be made available and there are no tickets available on the gate.

Season Tickets are valid for this fixture.


Car parking is available at two locations, as shown on the map below:

Supporters may either park in Car Park 1, which is on the sports centre site, or in Car Park 2 and then walk to the stadium.

Once all spaces in Car Park 1 are filled, supporters will be directed to park in Car Park 2.

Parking is free at either car park.

If driving to the game, please be aware of the ongoing closure of Elvet Bridge which could lengthen journey times. Please leave plenty of time to complete your journey to Maiden Castle.

Where possible, we would encourage supporters to walk to Maiden Castle or travel to the fixture via public transport – with Maiden Castle well-served by a number of bus routes from Durham City Centre, the rail station and surrounding areas.

The following buses stop at Houghall College, which is directly opposite Maiden Castle:

The turnstiles will be open from 5:00pm on the day of the game – two hours before kick-off.

To gain admission to the fixture, supporters will have to show their unique e-ticket to the turnstile staff. This can be done via a printed copy of the ticket, or on a mobile phone screen.

Please note that those who have purchased student tickets may be asked for proof of student status, so please have this ready to display on entry.


Seating and standing is available around the ground.

In the seated stand, please be respectful of the seats that are marked as reserved for VIPs, members of the press, club staff and Premium Season Ticket Holders.

Supporters can sit in any grey seat which is not marked as reserved.

Standing is available on the other three sides of the ground. Please do not stand in areas that are fenced off.


Fat Frank’s Street Food Truck will be at the game, serving a range of hot and cold refreshments to supporters.

He will be situated to the left of the turnstile as you enter the ground.

Card and cash payment will be accepted.


A number of new items of merchandise will be available to purchase at this fixture – including new-look club scarves and, by popular demand, club beanie hats.

Our popular match day programme will also be on sale, priced at £3.
