Bede ISE’s Women’s Football Academy – run in partnership with Durham Women FC – enjoyed success last week as they qualified for the AOC Sport National Championships!
The team have enjoyed a strong start to the season and continued that in the regional qualifiers – winning five of their six games and remaining unbeaten throughout the competition.
They scored 17 goals in the process and didn’t concede a single goal to book their place at the National Championships.

The Women’s Football Academy gives talented and committed players the opportunity to combine their education with a high-quality football development programme.
Student-athletes benefit from specialist coaching, regular training, competitive fixtures and an outstanding performance-support package, including strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, performance analysis and nutritional guidance.
These Talent ID sessions provide a fantastic opportunity for students to meet our coaching teams, experience the academy environment and showcase their ability while discovering how Bede can support their ambitions on the pitch and in the classroom.

We will hold multiple Talent ID days and half-term camps throughout the year. If students cannot attend in October, they can select their preferred half-term camp on the registration form.
