Durham Women are delighted to confirm that Grace Collinson has signed her first professional contract with the club.
A product of the club’s pathway system, Collinson joined the club as a nine-year-old and progressed through the ranks to our Professional Game Academy.
After impressing for club’s under-21 side, the forward made her first team debut in December’s Women’s FA Cup tie against Sheffield United before making her first start against Birmingham City a week later.

Collinson ended the 2025/26 season with 11 first-team appearances while making a number of key contributions – including winning a last-minute penalty in the 2-1 win over Portsmouth.
And now the 18-year-old has penned her first professional terms at Maiden Castle.
Speaking after signing her deal, Collinson said: “I’m over the moon. I’ve been at the club since I was nine and it’s what I’ve worked towards since joining.
“Durham has a special heart in mine and my family’s heart, so that makes it even more special.
“Personally I just want to do everything I can to help the team – score goals and just help wherever I can – and hopefully the team can finish as high as possible.”
Collinson signed her professional contract alongside Foundation Phase Lead, Katy Hawkins – who was her first coach at the club.

She will wear the number 22 for Durham this season.
