Durham Women FC are delighted to announce that TicketCo will continue as the club’s Official Ticketing & Fan Journey Partner – after a new multi-year deal was agreed with one of the Europe’s leading ticketing platforms.
Durham Women and TicketCo have been in partnership since 2021, simplifying ticketing for supporters at all touchpoints.
Durham were one of the first clubs to work with TicketCo and with this year marking the five-year anniversary of the partnership, fresh terms have been agreed which will see the partnership continue into the long-term.
As part of the new agreement, the club will explore how they can refine and improve the supporter ticketing journey to continue delivering a first-in-class experience for both home and visiting fans.
Mark Donnelly, Chief Operating Officer at Durham Women FC, said: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with TicketCo.
“David, Clare and the team at TicketCo have been fantastic partners over recent years and we’re thrilled to be further solidifying the relationship by announcing them as our Official Ticketing & Fan Journey Partner on a long-term basis.
“As we start a new era for the club, it’s crucial that we work with like-minded brands and partners and TicketCo share our desire to deliver a first-in-class fan experience through technology and innovation.
“Throughout the last five years, the platform has consistently delivered an excellent experience for both our supporters and visiting fans, with overwhelmingly positive feedback across the board.
“We’re excited to continue working closely with TicketCo to drive further innovation, enhancing our ticketing offer and ensuring we provide a seamless, modern and user-friendly experience for all supporters.”
David Kenny, Vice President UK & Ireland at TicketCo, added, “It is a privilege to be extending our partnership with Durham Women FC at such an exciting time for them as they move into their next chapter.
“As one of the only standalone women’s clubs in the country, Durham have shown incredible resilience, building something truly special without the backing of a men’s club behind them.”
“That independence takes courage, and it is a huge part of what makes this club so admirable.
“From the very beginning, Durham have shared our commitment to putting the fan journey at the heart of everything they do. That alignment is what makes this partnership work so well and our new agreement gives us the platform to take it even further, refining the supporter experience, utilising data in the right way, and driving real innovation in how fans engage with the club.”
