Ayre on the mood in camp…
“It’s really positive.
“Obviously having five weeks since our last fixtures hasn’t been ideal, but we’ve tried to use it to our advantage.
“Training’s been really competitive, the intensity has been high, and I think it has given us a chance to sharpen up on a few things.
“We’re excited to put the work we’ve done into a performance.”
Ayre on Palace…
“When we played them at home earlier in the season, it was a very competitive fixture.
“They’ve been picking up some good results since, so we know it’ll be tough.
“But we just need to stay focused, stick to our game plan, and be ready for a physical, competitive match.”
Ayre on the fans…
“The support from our fans is massive for us.
“Having them travel all the way from Durham to London really shows how dedicated they are.
“It really lifts the team having them there and we want to make sure we give them something to cheer about on Sunday.”
