Five reasons a 2025/26 Durham Women Season Ticket is a must-have

The new season is quickly approaching – and it’s set to be another huge one in the Barclays Women’s Super League 2.

And after a fourth-place finish last term, Durham enter the campaign with a fresh optimism and looking to once again challenge for promotion.

They will be one of a number of sides eyeing that goal though, with this season set to be one of the most exciting promotion races yet.

We’ve already seen a near-record-breaking number of fans seal their Season Tickets for next season, but why should join the Blue Army?

Here’s five reasons why a Season Ticket for 2025/26 is a must-have…

THE STAKES HAVE NEVER BEEN HIGHER

There’s more on the line than ever before in the Barclays Women’s Super League 2 this season.

As the top tier in England prepares to expand, for the first time in several years there will be two teams automatically promoted this season.

And in a new, exciting twist, the third place team in the BWSL2 will play the bottom side in the BWSL in a winner-takes-all play-off game!

So the stakes have never been higher, with every single game, goal and point crucial.

NEW SIGNINGS & INTERNATIONAL STARS

Durham have so far brought in seven new faces – from exciting young talent to international stars.

England youth international Grace Ede joined the club from Sunderland, followed by former Newcastle United captain Amber Stobbs, American stopper Cat Sheppard and promotion-winning winger Angela Addison.

Abbey Jones also put pen to paper with Durham after a spell in the USA, joining Venezuelan international Mariana Speckmaier and Irish midfielder Tyler Toland in the ranks.

OUR INCREDIBLE MATCH DAY EXPERIENCE

We’re proud to offer an incredible match day experience – and that was recognised by external experts last season.

After a series of mystery shopper visits, our match day experience was highly-commended at the WSL End of Season Awards in May.

Our report said that we offered ‘a leading match day experience that any club could learn from‘ and described us a ‘a club driven by the needs of its fans and community.
