Durham suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Hibernian FC in their pre-season clash
Hannah Jordan opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, before Kathleen McGovern bagged a brace in the second-half in quick succession. Substitute Kirsten Reilly then netted to make it four.
Jordan gave Hibs the lead in the first-half after being picked out by Rosie Livingstone’s cutback.
Durham had a handful of chances in the first half – Mollie Lambert’s cross into the box found Beth Hepple, with her shot narrowly swerving wide of the post.
Hannah Blake found the back of the net in the 37th minute, but the flag was raised for offside.
McGovern started the second-half with rebounding her own strike, playing round the keeper, and finding the back of the net in the 51st minute. Her second goal came just seven minutes later, extending the Hibees’ lead to three.
Hibernian’s fourth came from substitute Kirsten Reilly in the 66th minute, pinching a loose ball in the box and finding the back of the net.
