Details for the 2025/26 group stage draw of the Subway® Women’s League Cup have now been confirmed.
The draw will take place on BBC’s Radio 5Live Breakfast show at 8:30am on Thursday 31st July.
It will be split into two sections – northern and southern.
Durham will be ball number two in the Northern Section.

- Manchester City
- Sunderland
- Everton
- Newcastle United
- Sheffield United
The northern section will be split into two groups consisting of four teams.
The first four numbers out of the bag will be placed in Group A. The remaining and last four numbers out of the bag will be placed in Group B.

Knockout Stages
- Quarter Finals: 20/21 December 2025
- Semi Finals: 21/22 January 2026
- Final: 15/16 March 2026
UEFA Women’s Championship League Teams
Arsenal and Chelsea will enter the competition at the quarter final stage due to their involvement in the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL).
Additionally, should Manchester United exit the UWCL and fail to qualify for the UEFA Women’s Europa League, they will enter the Subway® Women’s League Cup at the group stage with an additional draw required to determine if they will join Group A or Group B.
