Looking for somewhere in Durham to watch England’s Lionesses fixtures during Euro 2025?
Durham Women FC have teamed-up with The Library in Durham to host a series of watch parties for England’s fixtures during the summer tournament.
All are welcome and the watch parties are completely free!
When and where are the Lionesses Watch Parties?
The Lionesses Watch Parties will be held on the following dates (with extras to be added if England qualify for the knockout stages!):
- Saturday 5th July – England v France (8pm kick-off)
- Wednesday 9th July – England v Netherlands (5pm kick-off)
- Sunday 13th July – England v Wales (8pm kick-off)
The Library (Sadler Street, DH1 3NU) will host all the events, and is conveniently located in Durham City Centre, close to the train station, bus station and numerous parking options. Prince Bishops multi-storey car park is the closest option.
What is The Library like?
The lively sports bar shows all major events, with eleven HD TVs and two big screens – meaning you’ll never miss a minute of the action!
Those attending the Durham Women FC Watch Party will have exclusive use of the lower level – which has two pool tables and Durham Women FC scarves and flags to add to the atmosphere.
But don’t worry – you don’t have to be a Durham Women FC fan to join us!
The Library has accessible access too.
Can I attend with children?
Yes! The Library is family-friendly with a specific area for families.
Families with children will be situated next to the front door in a specific area that can be cordoned off.
Children will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
What else is happening at the Lionesses Watch Parties?
As well as the England game being shown on numerous screens, we’ve got plenty more planned!
If you’ve been collecting the Euro 2025 or Lionesses sticker collections (or both!), bring down your albums and any swaps and get trading with fellow supporters!
We also have some FREE giveaways from both the club and the Barclays Women’s Super League planned – keep an eye on our social media for full details.
Style of Play have also provided us with some brand new Durham Women FC t-shirts, which will be available exclusively at our Watch Parties! They’re priced at £25 and payment is via card only.
We are also hoping to have first-team players available to meet and greet supporters at some of the Watch Parties. Again, keep an eye on our social media for the latest!
The bar will be open throughout with food available too.
Do I need to book a place at the Lionesses Watch Parties?
There is no need to pre-book, just turn up and join the fun!
