Durham Women continue our Barclays Women’s Championship campaign on Sunday, March 30 (12pm kick-off) against Portsmouth – and we’ve got a big day planned!
It’s our penultimate home fixture of the season and our last game at Maiden Castle for over a month, so you can’t afford to miss it!
The clash sees Pompey head to the North East in a game which could have a major impact at both ends of the table.
Durham need three points to keep their promotion push alive, while the visitors will be looking to continue their strong form of late as they look to climb away from relegation danger!
And while there will be unmissable action on the pitch, we’re also making sure it’s a day supporters won’t forget off the field too!
Here’s what we’ve got planned for the fixture with Portsmouth:
- Pre-match tournament – Ahead of the game we’ll be welcoming junior teams from across the region for a fun-filled morning of football in The PFC Trust Cup! They’ll then be introduced to the crowd at half-time!
- Charity collection – We’re dedicating this fixture to the fantastic work that the PFC Trust do in the North East, and they’ll be collecting valuable donations ahead of the game!
- Player meet and greets – you’ll be able to meet our players at the end of the game for autographs and selfies! Just head to the front of the stand at full-time.

- Food & Drink from Fat Frank’s Street Food – with a wide range of selection, plus we’ll also have Cafe Nero open serving a range of hot and cold food and drink throughout the afternoon
- Plus the unmissable action on the field – there was late drama when the two teams met last season, and another exciting contest is in store!
