Durham Women FC are delighted to announce a partnership with The Library – a Durham-based sports bar – to offer fans of the women’s game a dedicated space to watch games.
Starting in April, The Library and Durham Women FC will host a number of ‘Watch Parties’ for high-profile fixtures – giving the women’s football community a place to come together and view the big moments.
This will start with England’s UEFA Women’s Nations League fixture against Belgium, with plans already in place for similar events during the Lionesses’ Euro 2025 campaign in the summer.
Moving forward, Durham Women FC’s away games during the 2025/26 season are also set to be broadcast – meaning fans unable to travel have a place to go to watch the match together.
The Library is conveniently located in Durham City Centre, close to the train station, bus station and numerous parking options.
The lively sports bar shows all major events, with eleven HD TVs and two big screens – meaning you’ll never miss a minute of the action!
Those attending the Durham Women FC Watch Party will have exclusive use of the lower level – which has two pool tables and will soon feature Durham Women FC scarves and flags.
Our first Watch Party will take place on Tuesday 8th April when the Lionesses face Belgium. All are welcome and the parties are completely FREE! Representatives from Durham Women FC and the Durham Women FC Official Supporters Club will both be in attendance.
The bar will be open throughout with food available until 10pm.
