Durham Women have a huge day planned to celebrate International Women’s Day with our players set to inspire the next generation across the region
Our first team players will be present at schools across the region on Friday, 7 March, to inspire the next generation of female footballers.
Here’s exactly what we’ve got planned for International Women’s Day:
- Sarah Wilson, Beth Hepple, Becky Salicki and Dee Bradley will visit Kepier School for a question-and-answer session
- Anna King, Carly Johns, Ella Wilson and Alice Griffiths will visit Durham Johnson to host a Q&A and football session
- Chilton Academy will host Aimee Claypole, Hannah Blake, Mollie Lambert, Abby Holmes and Michaela Foster to join in with their Biggest Ever Football Session
- Rylee Foster, Kaila Novak and Abbi Grant will visit The Meadows to deliver an inspirational assembly
- Grace Ayre, Lauren Briggs, Lily Crossthwaite and Eleanor Ryan-Doyle will head to St Bede’s Lanchester to host a Q&A
In addition to these visits, we are also offering free tickets to schools, community groups and clubs in the North East – you can still register for those by clicking here!
