Tatiana Saunders is excited to return to Maiden Castle this weekend – as Durham Women prepare to welcome Birmingham City.
After back-to-back away games, the Blues will return to home soil as they face an unbeaten Birmingham side on Sunday, September 29 (12pm kick-off).

“As a group we did really well.
“In football we say we control the controllables, and I thought we had a really great team performance.
“We’ve had a great pre-season and start to the season, and it’s just taking that momentum into Birmingham on Sunday.”
Saunders on defensive form…
“Obviously we want to get as many clean sheets as possible.
“Defensively, we’re a really good unit and we’re doing really well.”
Saunders on Birmingham City…
“They’ve got some big results.
“We’ve prepared really well and we’re excited for the weekend.”
Saunders on returning to home soil…
“We have terrific fans.
“They’re so dedicated and we saw them at Charlton, but it’ll be nice to be back home in front of everyone.
“There’s no place like home and it’ll be nice to be back in front of everyone at Maiden Castle.”
