Durham v Sunderland | River Wear Derby ticket information confirmed

The River Wear Derby is approaching – and Durham Women can now confirm ticketing details ahead of the clash with Sunderland.

The Black Cats visit Maiden Castle on Sunday, October 20 (12pm kick-off) in the first North East Derby on home soil this Barclays Women’s Championship season.

The last three River Wear Derbies at Maiden Castle have all sold-out, and we’re expecting massive demand for tickets this time around too.

And we can now confirm ticketing details ahead of the highly-anticipated clash.

There will be a phased approach to ticket sales which will allow members of our email database the opportunity to purchase tickets first. If any tickets remain after this pre-sale period then they will be placed on general sale.

We therefore highly recommend that anyone wishing to purchase tickets registers for our email database to ensure that they have access to the pre-sale period. Anyone who signs-up before 10am on Wednesday, September 18 will have access to the pre-sale period.

You can register HERE.

See below for dates and times when tickets will be available:

  • Wednesday, September 18 (6pm) – Pre-sale period begins for members of our email database. Those who have signed-up will receive an exclusive link to purchase in their inbox.
  • Thursday, September 19 (6pm) – Any remaining tickets will be placed on General Sale.

There will be no designated away allocation or section for this fixture.

All tickets are General Admission and supporters must therefore purchase their tickets through Durham Women FC.

No tickets will be sold by Sunderland AFC.

Tickets will be priced at the following rates:

  • Adults – £12
  • Student – £8
  • Child (16 & Under) – £6

We face Birmingham City at Maiden Castle on Sunday, September 29!

Tickets are selling quickly – so get yours HERE to avoid disappointment!
