It’s been a busy summer on the field at Durham Women – and the work has also been continuing off it.
We want to ensure we continue to give our supporters the best match day experience possible, and we’ve made some new additions to Maiden Castle over the summer to help with this.
Here’s a few of the improvements we’ve made over the summer:
NEW SCOREBOARD
It’s been a regular request from supporters in recent years, and a scoreboard has now been installed at Maiden Castle ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Thanks to Durham University for their support in providing this.
NEW PICNIC SEATING
Situated next to Fat Frank’s Street Food, we’ve had delivery of four A-Frame Picnic Benches!
These will offer supporters a handy spot to enjoy their food, while also acting as an additional social spot for fans to catch-up before, during and after the game.
Thank you to the Plastic Furniture Company and Plastic Processing Limited for providing the benches.
NEW MERCHANDISE
We’ve listened to supporters and will have a range of new merchandise available at Sunday’s game – with more items to follow in the coming months.

We won’t stop there, and will continue to keep improving our match day experience for you.
After each home game we’ll send supporters a post-match survey, and we’d love to know your views so we can continue to improve.
