Durham Women’s opponents in Women’s League Cup confirmed

Durham Women’s opponents in the group stage of the Women’s League Cup have been confirmed.

The Blues have been drawn in Group X which consists of the following teams:

• Durham
• Sheffield United
• Sunderland
• Blackburn Rovers

Details of the split of home and away games will be confirmed in due course alongside dates for each game.

Group Stage Fixture Dates

• 2/3 October 2024 
• 16/17 October 2024 & 13/14 November 2024 (Only required if either Arsenal or Manchester City enter the Group Stage) 
• 23/24 November 2024 
• 11/12 December 2024 

 Knockout Stages

• Quarter Finals: 22/23 January 2025 
• Semi Finals: 5/6 February 2025 
• Final: 15/16 March 2025 

UEFA Women’s Championship League Teams

Chelsea will enter the competition at the Quarter Final Stage. 

If either Arsenal or Manchester City exit the UWCL in either Rounds 1 or 2, then they will enter the League Cup at the Group Stage (playing their first match on 16/17 October).

A draw would take place to determine which group (A or B) Manchester City and (C,D or E) Arsenal would join.
