Durham U10s and U14s were in tournament action in the North West this weekend – with both teams doing the club proud with strong displays.
The tournament was held at Poolfoot Farm, the training ground of Fleetwood Town, and welcomed teams from across the North for a competitive day of football.
Our U10s kicked-off the action on Thursday and were unbeaten in a group that contained Liverpool, Burnley, Chester and Westmorland.
The Blues qualified for the final and met Crewe Alexandra – where Durham ran-out 2-1 winners to claim the trophy.

Our U14s then took to the field on Friday and played a number of challenging group fixtures.

Their results were enough for a place in the semi-final where a strong Burnley side progressed – but there were plenty of positives for the side to take ahead of their League Cup Final on Saturday.
