Friday, May 17 saw Durham Women winger Lily Crosthwaite head out in the community to help inspire the next generation.
The forward attended the Schools Cup & Shield held at Chilton Academy, where nine local schools were competition in a fun and friendly tournament.
The event, held by Go Well, saw pupils get the chance to meet Lily and learn about her life as a professional footballer with the Blues – with plenty of opportunities for photos and pictures.
And having won a competition through the Barclays Girls Football Schools Partnerships, Go Well welcome the UEFA Women’s European Championship trophy – lifted by the Lionesses in 2022 – to the event too!
