Durham U16s win PGA Plate!

Durham Women U16s have brought home a major piece of silverware after winning the PGA Plate.

The young Blues travelled to Loughborough University Stadium to face Brighton & Hove Albion and ran-out winners on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

Daisy Clarke twice scored to put Durham ahead in normal time before the Seagulls pegged them back – sending the final to penalties.

But it was the Blues who ran-out victors on penalties, with Phillipa Hunter the hero as she saved the decisive spot kick.
