We round-up all the key information ahead of Durham Women’s clash with Blackburn Rovers in the Barclays Women’s Championship…

- Fixture: Blackburn Rovers v Durham
- Date: Sunday 3rd March 2024
- Kick-off time: 2pm
- Competition: Barclays Women’s Championship
- Venue: Lancashire FA County Ground, Thurston Rd, Leyland, PR25 2LF

- Durham face Blackburn for the third time this season on Sunday – with the two teams having already locked horns at Maiden Castle in both the league and the Continental Cup
- Rovers, under the guidance of manager Simon Parker, were the early pace-setters in the Barclays Women’s Championship after a fine start to the campaign
- Parker’s side have won two of their last four, beating Sheffield United in the cup and London City away from home in the league
- Blackburn travelled to Crystal Palace in their last outing, and were beaten 4-0 by the Eagles

- Rovers currently sit 7th in the Barclays Women’s Championship with 18 points on the board.
- Their league record this season stands at: Played 14; Won 6; Drawn 0; Lost 8
- Skipper Tyler Toland is one to watch this weekend, with the central midfielder a full Republic of Ireland international – although she did have to pull-out of their most recent squad through injury
- Up front, the lively duo of Megan Hornby and Lucy Shepherd can cause problems while Georgia Walters is a proven Championship striker
- Defender Hannah Silcock is on loan from Liverpool and has featured – and scored – for England U23s this week

- Our last meeting with Blackburn Rovers came back in October
- And it was Durham who were victorious courtesy of Saoirse Noonan’s brace – a brave header followed by a well-taken curler from the edge of the box
- Toland halved the deficit, but the Blues saw out the victory
- Durham XI: Saunders, Briggs, S Wilson, Robson, Lambert, Andrews (Pritchard 66), Salicki, Bradley, Noonan, Ryan-Doyle (Ayre 90+4), Clarke (Holmes 90+4)

- Durham travelled to London City in their last outing and earned a well-deserved point courtesy of Sarah Robson’s late leveller in a 2-2 draw. Amy Andrews had previously cancelled-out an own goal for Durham, before Lotta Lindstrom looked to have sealed the win for the hosts – only for Robson to head home in injury time.
- Blackburn were beaten by promotion-chasing Crystal Palace at Sutton – Annabel Blanchard, Izzy Atkinson, Chloe Arthur and Shanade Hopcroft were on the scoresheet.

- Durham will be in their black away kit this weekend – with Blackburn in their home shirts.
- Blackburn outfield: Blue & White Shirts / Blue Shorts / Blue Socks
- Blackburn goalkeeper: Red Shirts / Red Shorts / Red Socks
- Durham outfield: Black Shirts / Black Shorts / Black Socks
- Durham goalkeeper: Green Shirts / Green Shorts / Green Socks
- All kit selections are subject to change.

- This weekend’s match referee is Megan Wilson
- She refereed the league fixture between these two teams earlier in the season as Durham ran-out 2-1 winners at Maiden Castle
- Prior to that, she was in the middle for our 1-0 win over London City at the start of the campaign as Amy Andrews netted a dramatic late winner

- She will be assisted by Daniel Sykes and Danielle Whitworth
- Richard Fullicks will be the Fourth Official
