- The Lionesses are currently being led by interim head coach Darren Smith after parting company with Carolina Morace earlier this month.
- Smith led the side in their Adobe Women’s FA Cup clash against Liverpool on Sunday – with the Reds running-out 2-0 winners in a closely-fought game.
- London City are also set to face Arsenal on Wednesday evening in the last eight of the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup.

- London City currently sit 10th in the Barclays Women’s Championship with 12 points on the board.

- Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah is the club’s current top scorer and has been in fine form since joining from Aston Villa in the summer.

- After a heavy defeat against Crystal Palace, Durham were targeting a response – and they got it in the most dramatic fashion at Maiden Castle.
