Durham v Manchester City: Home Allocation Sells Out In Record Time!

Durham Women’s allocation of tickets for the Adobe Women’s FA Cup tie against Manchester City have sold out – and in record time!

After tickets went on sale at 6pm on Monday, fans flocked to secure their spot at Maiden Castle for the big game.

Early sales already ensured that the fixture would be played in front of a record crowd for the club – and another record was smashed when the final tickets were sold just before 2pm today.

That meant that our allocation sold-out within 20 hours of going on sale, the quickest the club have ever sold-out a fixture.

Lionesses such as Chloe Kelly, Lauren Hemp and Alex Greenwood could all feature for City when they visit the North East on January 14 – alongside international stars like Jill Roord, Bunny Shaw and Yui Hasegawa.

Durham’s allocation of general sale tickets have all sold-out but, as per competition rules, Manchester City were allocated 15% of all available tickets.

These remain on sale for City supporters with details on the visiting club’s official website.

We may have some tickets returned to the club prior to the fixture taking place. If this is the case, then tickets will be placed back on sale as soon as possible.

With that in mind, the club has created a waiting list for supporters to join so that they can be notified should any additional tickets go on sale.
