Durham & Katem Logistics To Host Pre-Match Tournament!

Durham Women have teamed-up with Katem Logistics to host a junior tournament ahead of Sunday’s fixture!

The two organisations have worked together since the summer of 2022 and have teamed-up to provide players with an enjoyable football festival ahead of Christmas.

Teams from across the North East and Cumbria will converge on 3G2 (the furthest artificial pitch from the main building at Maiden Castle) from 9am on Sunday morning as they prepare for a fun and friendly few hours of football fixtures!

The players, parents and coaches will then head along to the main stadium to cheer on the Wildcats in a big game in the Barclays Women’s Championship.

Every participant will receive a certificate on the pitch at half-time during the Durham v Southampton game, while the winning teams will also be presented with their trophies!

“Good luck to all the teams and more than anything we hope everyone enjoys being part of a wonderful tournament.”

Mark Donnelly of Durham Women added: “We’re delighted to be working with Katem Logistics to host this tournament – and provide a host of junior teams with the opportunity to play a lot of football at a time of year where that can sometimes be difficult.

“We’ve all loved working with Katem Logistics since partnering with them last year and this is such an exciting way to continue this partnership.”
