Competition: Win mascot spaces for our big game with Sunderland!

Durham Women FC and The PFC Trust are combining to give local junior football teams the chance to win a day they will never forget.

The Blues host local rivals Sunderland at Maiden Castle on Sunday, November 5 (12pm kick-off) in the first River Wear Derby of the new Barclays Women’s Championship season.

The fixture will be dedicated to Hartlepool-based charity The PFC Trust, and a sell-out crowd is expected in what is sure to be an entertaining afternoon of football. 

So how would you like to see your son and daughter’s team walk out with the Durham players into a packed-out stadium?

We’ve got the opportunity for a local junior team to become the match mascots in our easy-to-enter competition.

By entering, you’ll also be helping The PFC Trust continue the fantastic work they do in having a positive impact on people’s lives across the North-East. You can win the chance for your team to be match mascots at the fixture by following the simple steps below. 

1. Text WINMASCOT followed by a donation amount to 70560 (e.g. WINMASCOT5 to donate £5). This donation amount can be anything from £1 upwards.
2. Make sure you send your text before 12pm on Friday, October 27 – as this is when the competition will close.
3. Keep your eyes on The PFC Trust’s social media channels – as they’ll be drawing the winner at 3pm on Friday, October 27!

Terms & Conditions

Texts cost the donation amount specified plus one standard network message. The competition will open at 12pm on Friday, October 13 and close on Friday, October 27. Entries received after this point will not be counted but may still be charged. The winner will be drawn on The PFC Trust’s social media pages at approximately 3pm on Friday, October 27. The winner will then be contacted and will have to liaise with Durham Women FC staff. The prize includes admission for a maximum of 22 players – coaches and parents will have to purchase tickets at a discounted price. Please check with your team coach/manager before entering.
