We recently caught-up with Mollie Lambert on fixture release day and spoke with her about the up and coming season, the fixtures she is most excited about and how some of the new signings have settled in.
Mollie firstly spoke about fixture release day and said: “We are all very excited especially about the first game being away to Watford, it means we all have a chance to get on the bus and have some extra team bonding.
“We can not wait to get the season going. It is a long season however we have a home game last game of the season to look forward to.”
Mollie then went on to talk about the fixtures that really stuck out to her.
“Definitely the local derby with Sunderland is always a one to look out for,” she said.
“Also the first and last game of the season as we want to start and end the season strong.”
Mollie then spoke about the hard work the hole team has been putting in throughout pre season.
“The first couple of weeks have been tough people just finding their feet and getting past the rustiness.
“The extra runs have been tough but they are all worth it come the end of the season.”
Finally Mollie spoke on the new signings recently coming into Maiden Castle and how she felt they had settled in.
“They have all settled in perfectly,” she revealed.
“They fit the culture and philosophy of the club. We are all an easy group of girls to get along with. They have all fitted in perfectly a few funny characters and all great individuals.”
