Our Emerging Talent Centres are back for a pre-season!
The centres will initially run at two venues however we will be working over the coming weeks to launch the third venue. The two initial venues are:
- New Ferens Park, Durham
- Bede Sixth Form College, Stockton
As part of the FA strategy to increase the talent pool across the country we are dedicated to offering high level coaching at more accessible and cost effective locations in the north of England.
Within the club we also have a talent ID pathway in place for the striving players to be identified to attend further training sessions at Durham WFC central training venue and to represent Durham WFC in a games programme. It is important to note that players will be able to play for their grassroots team alongside this.
‘Memberships’ for the sessions are ran on a block by block basis due to demand for the sessions.
- 4 week block – £10 per player
- Monday 31st July, Monday 7th August, Monday 14th August and Monday 21st August.
This season we will be running at 3 age groups:
- U8 – Y2, Y3 (from September)
- U10 – Y4, Y5 (from September)
- U12 – Y6, Y7 (from September)
New Ferens Park – U8s and U10s 5pm-6pm, U12s 6pm-7pm
Bede Sixth Form Centre – U8s and U10s 5pm-6pm, U12s 6pm-7pm
Due to the popular nature of the sessions, spaces are already limited for some venues and age groups – so book quickly to avoid disappointment!
