Dee Bradley hailed Durham Women’s home supporters for the crucial role they played in the win over Coventry United.
A crowd of 612 watched the 5-1 win as goals from Bradley, Saoirse Noonan, Jess Clarke, Lily Crosthwaite and Becky Salicki secured a memorable victory.
And we caught-up with the American after the game…
Bradley on bouncing back…
“Last week was tough to take and we played a very tough side, but you never want to lose.
“We moved on this week in training and I think the result showed that today.
“Three points in the league is huge. Coventry are a very good side so to get five goals and three points is huge.
Bradley on five goals – and her first of the season…
“In training it shows as well – people have that desire to want to score.
“I’ll take it! I thought they had given a foul but I’ll take it!”
Bradley on the home support…
“As always they were incredible.
“I had three special fans here as well this week [family from Ireland] so they can come next week to Bristol too!
“The fans always push us when we need them and we’re really grateful for that.”
