ROUND-UP: Durham Women Duo On International Duty

Two Durham Women players are jetted-off on international duty during the break in domestic fixtures.

And here’s how they got on…

SAOIRSE NOONAN (REPUBLIC OF IRELAND)

Noonan formed part of the Republic of Ireland squad who headed to Marbella for a warm weather training camp.

The striker on the bench for the side’s win over Morocco having featured in an in-house game on Friday.

The camp was vital preparation for Vera Pauw’s squad as they prepare for next summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

SARAH ROBSON (NORTHERN IRELAND)

Northern Ireland welcomed Italy to Seaview on Tuesday evening – and claimed a memorable victory over the Azzurri.

Robson was on target in the 1-0 win, turning home from a corner to seal a historic win for Kenny Shiels’ side.
