Rio Hardy says Durham Women are looking to show what they’re capable of when they welcome Sheffield United on Sunday.
The Blades visit Maiden Castle in the opening game of the Continental Tyres Cup – with clashes against Manchester United, Aston Villa and Everton to follow.
And after a disappointing defeat at London City Lionesses last time out, Durham are looking to bounce back in the tournament.
“We’ve got to look forward to the weekend now,” said Hardy.
“We’ve looked at it in analysis, drawn a line under it and now we push on into the weekend.
“It’s all eyes on Sunday and we’re working hard in training to put things right.
“Everyone is backing each other to show what we’re capable of and what we can do.”
The two sides have already met once this season, with Sheffield United running out 2-0 winners at Bramall Lane.

And Hardy is under no illusion as to the scale of the challenge ahead.
“We’re expecting a tough test,” admitted the forward.
“They’re in form, so we’re expecting another tough one – but I think we can push on and do it.”
Durham will hope to be backed by another strong crowd at Maiden Castle this weekend – with tickets still available online and on the gate.
For Hardy, that could prove key.
“We had the support of them at London City which was incredible,” she added.
“But it’s nothing like a home game when there’s a packed-out Maiden Castle, so we’re looking forward to that.
“The fans can be massive for us so we’re looking forward to seeing them out there.”
