Four Durham Women players will be join up with their respective national teams this week as the domestic season pauses.
Here’s a look at who’s jetting off on international duty and when they’re in action:
Liz Ejupi (Kosovo)
Having made her debut for Kosovo earlier this year, Ejupi will again team-up with her nation for their FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
Kosovo will host Armenia on Thursday, September 1 (6:00pm kick-off) before then making the trip to play Poland on Tuesday, September 6 (5:30pm kick-off).
Maria Farrugia (Malta)
The 21-year-old will be part of the Malta squad who will take part in two FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying games.
Mark Gatt’s side will welcome Azerbaijan on Friday, September 2 (6:30pm kick-off) before then travelling to face Montenegro on Tuesday, September 6 (5:00pm kick-off).
Saoirse Noonan (Republic of Ireland)
Noonan is again in the Republic of Ireland national team ahead of an exciting set of fixtures for Vera Pauw’s side.
First up is a clash against Finland in front of a sold-out Tallaght Stadium on Thursday, September 1 (7:00pm kick-off), followed by an away game in Slovakia on Tuesday, September 6 (5:00pm kick-off).
Sarah Robson (Northern Ireland)
There’s two away games in store for Northern Ireland – who will look to cement their position in their World Cup qualifying group.
First up is Luxembourg on Friday, September 2 (5:30pm kick-off) followed by Latvia on Tuesday, September 6 (3:00pm kick-off).
