Sarah Robson is relishing another battle with Sheffield United – as Durham Women prepare to head to South Yorkshire.
Robson and her teammates were made to settle for a point after their opening day clash with Sunderland, with all at Maiden Castle aware that the side have plenty more gears to go through.
And next up are Neil Redfearn’s Blades – who tasted defeat to Blackburn Rovers on the opening day.
But that result wasn’t indicative of a performance that saw United dominate the ball and create the majority of the chances, only to be dealt a sucker-punch when Saffron Jordan turned home from close range after a free-kick.
They will be keen to bounce back on Saturday evening at Bramall Lane (5:30pm kick-off), with Robson knowing that Durham will be in for a tough test.
“We’ve played Sheffield many a time and it’s always been a battle,” she said.
“We know what they’re all about – we’ve played them in pre-season as well – and we look forward to playing against them because it’s always a good game.
“We love playing in the big stadiums and it’ll be an occasion again.”
Durham are set to be backed by a sizeable travelling contingent at Bramall Lane – with Robson keen to repay the support of the club’s faithful support.
“It’s incredible the travelling they do.
“When you get to these stadiums and you hear the corner of Durham fans, it’s amazing.
“It gives you a bit extra drive and motivation to make sure their journey wasn’t wasted.”
For those unable to attend, the game will be broadcast live and free on The FA Player.
