Durham Women are delighted to confirm that Bridget Galloway has signed a new contract with the club.
The striker, who joined the club from Sunderland in 2020, has gone on to make 50 appearances during her time at Maiden Castle – scoring 11 times.
A number of those strikes have proved crucial too, including a late leveller against Charlton in 2020 and a winner against London Bees in 2021.

And now Galloway will embark on the next chapter in her career – as a full-time professional.
“I’m buzzing,” she said.
“The atmosphere in the camp is great and hopefully we have a good season.
“It’s always been my dream to go and play football full-time so to get given the opportunity, I’m buzzing. It’s a dream come true.
“We’ve done well in pre-season and had a lot of positive results. We’re getting more and more out of training each day and now everyone is raring to go.”
The forward is also relishing the opportunity to play in front of the Durham fanbase once again – with a sellout crowd in attendance for Sunday’s season opener against Sunderland.
“I can’t wait to see the fans again,” added Galloway.
“They play a massive part so to get them all along will be great.
“If we can get support behind us all season, that’ll be really good.”
