Durham Women welcome Sunderland to Maiden Castle on Sunday, August 21 – with a sold-out crowd to be in attendance.
All available tickets have already been sold for the clash meaning it’s set to be a busy afternoon at the home of the Wildcats.
So with that in mind, we’ve put together some FAQs to make your visit to watch the River Wear Derby as easy as possible:

Durham v Sunderland will take place on Sunday, August 21 with a 12:30pm kick-off.
The match will be held at Maiden Castle, DH1 3SE.

Is there somewhere for me to park?
Parking will be available for free in two car parks.
Car Park 1 is situated at Maiden Castle and is just steps from the entrance to the ground.
Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If Car Park 1 is full, supporters will be asked to park in Car Park 2 – which is approximately 15 minutes walk away from the ground.
This is indicated on the map below:

We would therefore advise all spectators to arrive in plenty of time to ensure that they arrive at the ground in time for kick-off, should they have to walk from Car Park 2.
We would ask fans to walk or utilise public transport where possible.
What time should I arrive?
Supporters will be able to enter Maiden Castle from 10:30am, which is when the turnstiles will open.
Given the large crowd expected, we would advise all fans to arrive as early as possible.
We’ve put a full timetable of what’s happening and when below:
Will I be able to get a seat in the ground?
Seating at Maiden Castle is available on a first come, first served basis. We would therefore recommend that any fan wishing to secure a seat arrive for the turnstiles opening.
We would also ask all supporters to not sit in any seats marked as reserved.
There are a number of areas available for supporters wishing to stand, offering a great view of the action.
What refreshments will be available?
Fat Frank’s Street Food Trucks will be providing food and drinks at the game. Hot and cold options will be available, with cash and card accepted. The catering unit will be situated next to the turnstiles immediately as you enter the ground.
The Club Room Bar will also be open ahead of the game, with the entrance just before the turnstile outside the ground. The bar shows Sky Sports and offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Some example prices are below:

What merchandise will be available?
