Durham Women’s opening day clash with Sunderland is now completely sold-out!
Every ticket for the Barclays Women’s Championship clash on Sunday, August 21 (12:30pm kick-off) is now gone – with a bumper crowd set to enjoy the River Wear Derby at Maiden Castle.
It’s the third time in the last twelve months that Durham have sold-out their home ground, with the club having seen incredible levels of demand for tickets and Season Tickets over the course of the summer.
No further tickets will be made available for this game and we would kindly ask fans without tickets not to travel to Maiden Castle, as none will be available on the day.
Live commentary of the game will be available with John Middleton on Durham Hospitals Radio via dhradio.org.uk.
You can also stream the game live on The FA Player on Sunday afternoon.
As a result of the sell-out, the club have temporarily paused Season Ticket sales. Fans will again be able to purchase Season Tickets immediately after the Sunderland game on Sunday.
And tickets remain on sale for our next home league game – with Blackburn Rovers set to visit Maiden Castle on Sunday, September 18 (12pm kick-off).
