Durham Women’s duo of international players are set to return to England in the coming days – after representing the club and their countries overseas.
Here, we take a look at how they fared:
LIZ EJUPI (KOSOVO)
After missing Kosovo’s defeat to Norway, Ejupi featured against Belgium on Tuesday evening.
The forward was introduced from the bench at half-time to make her first international appearance for her homeland.
Ejupi’s side were beaten 6-1 by the Red Flames, with former Manchester City forward Tessa Wullaert scoring four times.
SARAH ROBSON (NORTHERN IRELAND)
Robson started both of Northern Ireland’s World Cup qualifiers as her side took on Austria and England.
She played 90 minutes in both games as the GAWA fell to a 3-1 defeat in their first game before then being beaten 5-0 by the Lionesses.
But Robson earned rave reviews for her performance at centre back against England, having marshalled Ellen White throughout.
The game was played in front of a sell-out crowd at Windsor Park.
