NEWS: Bradley Back For 2021/22

Durham Women FC are delighted to confirm that Dee Bradley will remain with the club for the 2021/22 season.

Bradley joined the club midway through the 2020/21 campaign and played her part in the second half of the season – including appearances against top tier sides Everton and West Ham United in the Vitality FA Women’s Cup and Continental Tyres Cup respectively.

Comfortable playing in the backline or midfield, the American has previously represented Old Dominion University and is now relishing the chance to test herself in the FA Women’s Championship.

“I genuinely couldn’t be more excited to be back at Durham for my first full season, especially with this group,” she said.

“There’s not a doubt in my mind that this team could go all the way and get promoted. There’s just so much talent and desire within this group of girls.

“I only got a small glimpse of how great the fans are last season, so I’m excited to experience the atmosphere and all the energy they will bring.”

Manager Lee Sanders added: “Dee has got that typical American positive attitude.

“She’s a lovely girl and has settled in so well with the group last season, under really tough circumstances given she came in just as COVID took over the world.

“She’s shown a real determination to break her way into the starting line-up for next season.

“She wants to compete and play at the best level she possibly can, so I’m sure she is a great addition to the squad.”

Dee Bradley is available to sponsor for the 2021/22 season. For just £500, businesses and individuals can benefit from a host of promotion – via our social media channels, website and match day programme – while also receiving their chosen player’s signed shirt! For more information, email
