Durham Women are back on the road this weekend – as they prepare to face London City Lionesses.
It will be the Wildcats’ fourth away trip of 2021 and will be another stern test as they prepare to face a side bang in form after over a month without a competitive fixture.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the fixture:
Under the guidance of Melissa Phillips, London City Lionesses have hit some serious form in recent weeks.
After closing out 2020 with a hard-fought draw at Sheffield United, the Lionesses have beaten Blackburn, Charlton and Lewes in recent weeks as they look to climb the table.
Goalkeeper Shah Yanez has been in fine form of late, and at the other end the side are packed with quality.
The experienced Lily Agg supports the likes of Liz Ejupi, Atlanta Primus, Kallie Balfour and Juliette Kemppi in the forward areas – as fearsome a frontline as you will find in the Championship.
Stay tuned for a pre-match interview!
