Beth Hepple says that the Durham Women squad are relishing their return to action this weekend.
After a week without a fixture in the FA Women’s Championship, the Wildcats return to action against the division’s in-form side in London City Lionesses.
And Hepple is under no illusions as to the scale of the challenge facing the Wildcats this weekend.
“It’s obviously going to be a really tough game,” said the midfielder.
“We’ve got a run of hard games coming up, and going away from home is always difficult, but we’re ready for the challenge.
“They’re in a really good run of form after a change in management and it’s always a tough game.
“London City are a really strong team with lots of experienced players, so it’s going to be a battle.”
“We’ve got a lot of experience and a good blend of youth in our squad,” she continued.
“Hopefully that should really help us.
“We’re excited to get into the games again and see what happens.”
