BIG MATCH PREVIEW: Coventry United (A)

The fixtures keep on coming thick and fast for Durham Women – who travel to Coventry United this weekend.

The Wildcats will travel to The Butts Park Arena to face a side who have already posed a stern test one this season.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the fixture:

After impressing in their first season in the Championship last year, Coventry – now back under the guidance of manager Jay Bradford – have shown plenty of promise in the opening weeks of the new campaign.

While results may paint one picture, performances paint an entirely different one – with the Red and Green unlucky not to have claimed more points from their recent games.

Defeats to Blackburn and London City in their last two outings were somewhat harsh, with Coventry putting in some committed performances in both games.

And with a number of players returning to full fitness, they’re a side to watch in the coming weeks.

We’ve met Coventry United twice before – with both games ending in Durham wins.

We triumphed at the Butts Park Arena last season, before winning 5-2 at Maiden Castle in the Continental Cup earlier this season.

The match will be played at The Butts Park Arena, Coventry.

Kick-off is at 12:00pm on Sunday, December 13.
