Bridget Galloway is keen to take the positives from Durham Women’s unbeaten start to the season – despite a frustrating draw at Leicester City.
A late leveller denied the Wildcats three points at Farley Way, and Galloway feels the side deserved the victory.
“I think we could have got a lot more out of it,” she said.
“We deserved to, we worked hard and it’s just the last few minutes – it’s frustrating to concede.”
But having gone toe-to-to with three full-time sides already, Galloway is optimistic moving forward.
“I think we’ve had a great start to the season.
“We started well, we’re still unbeaten and I think we’re going to go on and achieve big things.
“Everyone is putting their body on the line for each other.
“The togetherness is very good and we’ve got good things going for us – and we are going to be punishing teams going forward.”
