Durham Women FC are delighted to confirm that Sarah Robson will be staying with the club for the 2020/21 season.
The Northern Irish international has become a key part of the first team squad since her arrival in 2016, and is rapidly approaching 100 appearances for the Wildcats.
A reliable presence at both ends of the pitch, Robson has chipped in with a number of key goals during her time at the club – not least the last minute winner against Crystal Palace last season.
And now the midfielder is looking ahead to the 2020/21 season.
“I’m excited to be signing for Durham for another season,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to getting back out in front of the fans again soon as we’ve missed them loads over the last few months – so we’ll hopefully see them all very soon.”
Manager Lee Sanders added: “I’m really pleased to have Mac with us for a further season.
“She brings that experienced head to the middle that all teams need – she knows how and when to break things up to slow the opposition down, she’s fiercely competitive and keeps herself in good shape as she looks to continue her international career and compete in the delayed qualifiers and tournaments.”
