Durham Women FC are delighted to announce that Beth Hepple has committed her future to the club.
The attacking midfielder is the club’s longest-serving player – progressing through the junior section and winning an FA WNL title before Durham were accepted into the FA Women’s Super League for the 2014 season.
Hepple has been a near ever-present ever since – making 145 appearances and scoring 56 goals along with earning international, FA Cup Player of the Round and FA Women’s Championship Player of the Month honours.
And after seeing her stay extended, Hepple is eyeing another successful season at club level.
“I’m super excited to be staying at Durham for the new season,” she said.
“With this group of girls, we can really kick on this season – and I can’t wait to see all our fans again.”
Manager Lee Sanders added: “Beth is technically one of the most gifted players in the league and I’m delighted she’s going to be with us again moving forward”
“She’s been consistently a top performer both in front of goal and with assists from midfield over the last four or five years.
“Stats support the hard work she has put in, at and away from training consistently, and she’s got that drive that every team needs to want to win – along with the rest of the squad”
