Durham Women welcome London City to New Ferens Park – in what could be a key clash at the top of the FA Women’s Championship.
With both teams sat in the top four, it’s set to be an entertaining meeting which could have a big bearing on the league table come the end of the season.
And ahead of the game, here’s everything you need to know – from tickets to travel and more:
Formed in the summer, London City Lionesses quickly set about forming a full-time structure, while attracting a number of talented players to join their ranks.
Now managed by John Bayer, the Lionesses have built a squad capable of competing for promotion, with ex-Arsenal striker Freda Ayisi and prolific forward Liz Ejupi among the eye-catching summer recruits.
Dutch forward Vanessa Susanna recently joined the squad, and joins a strong group which also sees Lily Agg and Harley Bennett pulling on the shirt.
The Lionesses sit fourth in the league, and were beaten 2-0 by London Bees last weekend.
WE’VE MET BEFORE
We’ve met London City Lionesses just once before – running out 6-0 winners earlier this season.
Beth Hepple and Iris Achterhof both netted braces, with Lisa Robertson and Molly Sharpe also on the scoresheet.
Striker Molly Sharpe said: “When we played them away, it was brilliant.
“So we’re going to try and push on from this game and get another win.”
