FA CUP: Wildcats Handed Bristol Trip

Durham Women FC have been handed an away trip to Bristol City in the fourth round of the FA Women’s Cup.

The Wildcats made the journey to the Stoke Gifford Stadium in last season’s competition – running out 2-0 winners thanks to Lisa Robertson’s brace.

Reflecting on the draw, manager Lee Sanders said: “We never seem to get a short journey!

“That seems to be our lot in life, but it’s a tie that we’ve competed in and won in recent times.

“We’ve got to go there in confidence and believe that we can get a result.”

Ties are set to be played on Sunday, January 26 with a place in the fifth round up for grabs.

Full match and ticket details will be confirmed in due course.
