Want to learn how to play like a Wildcat?
Durham Women FC are inviting aspiring young footballers to come and develop their skills alongside our first team players at a pre-match Skills Session.
The session, led by our qualified and DBS-checked coaches, will be held ahead of the FA Women’s Championship clash with Lewes on Sunday, December 8.
First team star Julia Weithofer will be in attendance to offer support and tips to the aspiring players as they undergo a series of fun drills and games designed to improve their skills.
Our first team ground of New Ferens Park (DH1 1GG) will be the venue for the session, which is FREE to attend when a match ticket is purchased – or is included with a season ticket for Sister Club and RTC players.
The session will run from 9:45am – 10:45am, and all spaces MUST be pre-booked in advance.
Players are then invited to stay behind for our game against Lewes in what looks set to be another exciting fixture!
Please note that any parents, siblings or guests attending with the child MUST purchase a match day ticket – you will not be admitted to the stadium for the session without one.
HOW TO BOOK
To book your space on the session, click HERE.
Sister Club and RTC players must select ‘Sister Club Player’ when booking. This session is FREE for all these players – but spaces must be pre-booked.
Please make sure you enter the name of your club so we can verify purchases. Missing this information will result in your booking being cancelled.
For other aspiring youngsters, simply select the ‘Skills Session’ ticket option. This costs £3 and includes access to the Skills Session AND our game against Blackburn Rovers – great value!
Adults can also purchase tickets via the link above, or on the turnstile on the day of the game.
A system will be in place to allow parents and players to leave the ground in-between the end of the Skills Session and the first-team game kicking-off.
