Durham Women return to New Ferens Park this weekend – but why should you come and cheer on the side?

OLD FOES REUNITED
London Bees and Durham have enjoyed some fine battles over the seasons, with some memorable games thrown in, too.
Last season’s meetings both ended in narrow 1-0 wins for the Wildcats – including THAT Kathryn Hill screamer at New Ferens Park – but a new-look Bees will be keen for revenge.
DRAMA QUEENS
You can’t beat a little bit of late drama – and Durham have been the masters of it this season.
From two goals late on at Leicester City to the memorable stoppage time winner against Crystal Palace last time out, the Wildcats keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end of 90 minutes.
Even our last game saw a late fourth against Coventry – meaning you’re certainly in for a full hour and a half of action!
GOALS, GOALS, GOALS!
Goals haven’t been hard to come by for the Wildcats or London Bees this season – with both teams enjoying fine seasons in front of goal.
The in-form Lauren Pickett will be one to watch for Bees, while Durham’s own attacking talents will hopefully be at full throttle.
MEET YOUR HEROES
There’s more on offer than just watching the game this weekend – with young players able to meet their heroes after the game!
All of our first-team players will be available for autographs, selfies and a chat following the game.
