Durham Women turn their attentions back to the FA WSL Continental Tyres Cup this weekend – with a visit to Blackburn Rovers.
The Wildcats kicked-off the group stages of the competition with a comfortable win over Aston Villa and can retain their place at the top of the group with a victory at Bamber Bridge.
But buoyed by a win when the two sides met last weekend, Blackburn will be keen to keep building momentum.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the fixture:
A regular force in the FA Women’s National League, Blackburn finally earned a deserved promotion to the second tier last season.
AnGemma Donnelly has a squad packed with quality and have put in some impressive performances of late.
At the back, Arsenal youngster Fran Stenson provides stability between the sticks while further up the field the quality of Natasha Flint is clear to see.
