Durham Women turn their attentions to the FA WSL Continental Tyres Cup this weekend – as the group kicks-off with a clash against Aston Villa.
While the Wildcats have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season, so too have their opponents this weekend.
And ahead of the game, here’s everything you need to know – from tickets to travel and more:
After enjoying an impressive end to the 2018/19 season, Aston Villa have built upon those strong foundations.
And with some big investment having been provided over the summer months, Gemma Davies’ side look set to be serious title contenders this time around.
The likes of Emma Follis, Ella Franklin-Fraiture and top scorer Melissa Johnson have helped bolster an already talented squad – and Villa currently sit top of the second tier.
WE’VE MET BEFORE
Both our meetings last season ended in draws, with a 0-0 stalemate at Boldmere before a more entertaining 2-2 draw in the North East.
