Durham Women return to New Ferens Park this weekend – as they welcome Crystal Palace in the FA Women’s Championship.
After a 5-1 win on the opening day of the season, the Wildcats will be looking to continue their fine form against a tricky opponent.
And ahead of the game, here’s everything you need to know – from tickets to travel and more:
THE OPPOSITION
Having enjoyed some success in their first season in the FA Women’s Championship, Palace have strengthened considerably over the summer – adding some real quality to their ranks.
In have come ex-Spurs forward Bianca Baptiste, stopper Lucy Gillett and former Durham defender Annabel Johnson.
They join an already talented squad, which possess the likes of Ashlee Hincks, Freya Holdaway and Ciara Watling.
The Eagles’ first game of the new campaign ended in a 0-0 draw against newly-promoted Coventry United – but they’ll be keen to pick up a first three points at New Ferens Park.
WE’VE MET BEFORE
Both our meetings last season ended in 2-0 wins for the Wildcats – with the most recent clash between the two seeing Nicki Gears and Emily Roberts net at Hayes Lane.
