Durham Women were forced to settle for only a point from their trip to the capital after a late London Bees equaliser.
Having fallen behind late in the first half to an own goal, the Wildcats rallied and levelled through Beth Hepple’s second half penalty.
Mercy Darkoah’s strike 11 minutes from time looked to have secured three points for the visitors, but Jo Wilson netted late on to share the spoils.
The Wildcats came in to the game full of confidence after a victory over Sheffield FC on Thursday, but were forced to deal with some early pressure from the hosts.
Paula Howells looked lively down the wing, with Helen Alderson saving well after she had cut inside before her cross clipped the bar on its way out.
Chances were few and far between, though, with neither side looking likely to make a breakthrough.
That was until the 43rd minute, when Sarah Wilson’s backward header took an awkward bounce taking it over Alderson and into the net.
After struggling in the opening 45 minutes, Durham came out fighting after the interval and were almost level when Sarah Eadon teed up Nat Gutteridge who flashed a shot narrowly wide.
Tyler Dodds then fired straight at Sophie Harris, before Jordan Atkinson saw a header ruled out for offside after the Bees failed to clear a corner.
A leveller was coming though, and after the Bees handled in the area Hepple converted the resultant spot-kick.
Durham were in the ascendancy, with Sarah McFadden drilling over the bar before Hepple saw a long-range effort cannon off the inside of the post.
With just over ten minutes remaining the visitors took the lead as Mercy Darkoah reacted quickest to fire home Tyler Dodds’ cross from close range.
But the lead was to be short-lived, with Nikki Watts’ cross turned in at the near post by Jo Wilson only four minutes later.
Despite both teams pushing forward late on, neither could find an elusive winner.
